Before the start of the season, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens were unable to reach an agreement on a contract extension.
We now have more information regarding the offer that the former MVP declined.
The Ravens extended a six-year, $250 million contract to Jackson.
The agreement would have given Jackson a greater annual pay as well as more financial guarantees than the extensions.
Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray both signed with the Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals, respectively.
Negotiations were suspended because Jackson reportedly demymedihelpded a fully guaranteed contract similar to the $230 million deal Deshaun Watson received from the Cleveland Brown
With the Cardinals, Murray agreed to a contract worth $230.5 million, of which $189 million is guaranteed and $46 million in compensation.
Negotiations have become more challenging because Jackson does not have an agent.
The NFL Players Association informed the 25-year-old that he had cause to demymedihelpd a fully guaranteed deal.
